Where on earth did the sunshine go?

So it’s been another week of SATs – this time for the lovely Y2s and they have really tried their hardest and given everything they’ve got! I’m so proud of them.

The highlight for me has been that I can really see how the work we’ve done in the last year with teachers and children –  especially around mathematics, the new curriculum and preparing these little minds for the next step has truly had an impact – as daft as it sounds I’ve really enjoyed watching how they’ve tackled the mathematical problems – using patterns and mental strategies and not just counting on their fingers!
