Another fantastic week…this week we’ve been on the lookout for children who have been ‘Positively Persevering!”
I am so impressed with the Reading Monsters who are working on their reading challenges!!
So proud of our Y3/4s yesterday…
Apparently we’re the Sandhill Dabbers?!?
Sorry it’s better late than never (I had a technical issue on Friday!)
We had been looking at Inspiring Writers…and what a bunch we have 👌🏼
What a fabulous start to 2017!
We love celebrating success at Sandhill and we’ve had plenty to celebrate even after 4 days!
This is a tricky one!
I finished working with Little Owls this week and as always they were a delight! They definitely take everything in 😊
The Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6s have created some amazing designs for bags and uniforms – some future designers I think!
Listening to all the reasons from teachers in Special Mentions today just made me smile – lots of different reasons – from working independently to never giving up!
The highlight for me though has to be how caring the children are towards each other and the adults…it’s not very often I have my door closed but this week I had a busy morning and kept it closed. Just before lunch a young lady from Y6 came to check I was ok because the door was closed ❤ Watching them on the playground creating games…in the classroom helping each other and listening to each other in circle times – they really do look out for each other.
Enjoy the half term!
What a fantastic end to the start of the year!
We have celebrated all the things that make us Super Sandhillians!
Check out all the spellodrome & mathletic awards too!
Last week’s Special Mentions were all about Respectful Learners…what a week!
Thank goodness the blogs are working again…
I’m finally catching up with the special mention posts…
This was our ‘Perfect Presentation’ week – teachers looked at presentation in books and around school!
